Kathryn Bigelow did this, which stands to reason has to be pretty good. She has yet to make a movie that is unwatchable, and in the 1990s she hit her stride. Read Full ReviewThough this had plausibility issues one could drive a truck through, I enjoyed this movie despite itself. I really enjoyed Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver's charisma and acting, both when they were falling in love and later when they were at each other's throats. Very good soundtrack by Brad Fiedel--surprisingly, I liked it much more than Tangerine Dream's work in Bigelow's earlier Near Dark. If you can forgive the plot holes and just go along for the ride, it's a surprisingly rewarding film.
