Gina Lollobrigida (Italian pronunciation: [ˈdʒiːna lɔlloˈbriːdʒida]; 4 July 1927 - 16 January 2023) was an Italian actress, photojournalist, sculptress and politician. One of the most popular European actresses of the 1950s and early 60s, she was also an iconic sex symbol of the 1950s. She remained an active supporter of Italian and Italian-American causes, particularly the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), and in 2008 received the NIAF Lifetime Achievement Award at the Foundation's A...
