From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Oliver Parker (born 6 September 1960) is an English film director. Parker was born in London, the son of Lady Gillian, a writer and GP, and Sir Peter Parker, a railway executive. His brother is actor Nathaniel Parker.
